Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FormulaFixer (formulafixer.org). By using the site, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What FormulaFixer does

FormulaFixer explains, generates, and fixes Excel and Google Sheets formulas using an AI processing service. A free plan covers single-formula requests; a paid plan ($2.99/mo, billed via Stripe) adds bulk analysis across an uploaded file.

2. Accounts

Some features (bulk analysis, Google Sheets import/export) require signing in with Google. You're responsible for activity under your account, and for keeping your Google account itself secure — we don't have a separate password to protect.

3. AI-generated results aren't guaranteed correct

Explanations, fixes, and generated formulas are produced by an AI model and may occasionally be wrong, incomplete, or not match your exact intent — especially for unusual or highly specific spreadsheet setups. Always review a result before relying on it, particularly for financial, legal, or other consequential work. FormulaFixer is a drafting and review aid, not a substitute for checking your own spreadsheet.

4. Subscriptions & billing

The paid plan is billed monthly through Stripe and renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, and we don't provide partial refunds for unused time. Prices may change with reasonable notice.

5. Connecting a Google account

If you connect Google Sheets/Drive access, you're granting FormulaFixer permission to create and write to a sheet on your behalf (for "Open in Google Sheets") and/or to read a sheet you explicitly select via Google's file picker (for "Import from Google Sheets"). You can revoke this access at any time from your Google Account permissions page — doing so will disable those specific features but won't affect the rest of the tool. 6. Acceptable use

Don't use FormulaFixer to attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent rate limits on the service; to process content you don't have the right to use; or for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate this.

7. Free templates

Spreadsheet templates offered on the Templates page are provided as-is, for your own use and modification. We're not responsible for how you customize or rely on them.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

FormulaFixer is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including errors in formulas you use based on our output.

9. Changes to the service or these terms

We may update these terms or change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service over time. If we make material changes to these terms, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
